BT 350 fetal monitor is a special equipment used to evaluate the health of the fetus (unborn baby) by measuring its heart rate and rhythm. It looks for increases, decreases or any other changes in the baby’s heartbeat. Fetal heart monitoring is done during late pregnancy and labour. It can detect abnormal fetal heart rate, which is further investigated to keep a check on the baby’s well being.
Working Of 350 Fetal Monitor
Bistos BT 350 is used for external fetal heart monitoring wherein it listens to and records the baby’s heartbeat through the patient’s belly (abdomen). To do this, the ultrasound probe (transducer) is wrapped around your belly. This device sends the fetal heartbeat to a recorder which is then printed on the thermal paper and can also be displayed on the 7-inch LCD display that shows and stores numbers and other data, which can be reviewed afterwards.
